How it helped us

We’re open about our own figures, and are always striving to keep our emissions down in our supply chain.

Our latest figures

Carbon emissions from our supply chain were up 5.1% in 2015/16. It’s crept up in 2016, but we’re still under where we were when we started. And we’re doing all we can to keep it down.

Hopefully, by getting more suppliers into the forum we can get this number down further.

How it’s helped our suppliers

In 2016, 150 key suppliers filled out the CDP Supply Chain Questionnaire.

How did they cut down their emissions?

From the questionnaire, the CDP found that:

  • 76% of respondents have set targets to cut their emissions
  • 86% have made climate change part of their business strategy
  • 87% reported having initiatives to cut their emissions
  • 64% are engaging with their own suppliers on climate change.
